JIM THORPE PARTNERS WITH SEATTLE ADAPTIVE SPORTS

On Sunday, January 29th, 2023, Seattle real estate expert Jim Thorpe and the local non-profit,  Seattle Adaptive Sports joined forces to give their athletes an unforgettable experience. The kids were invited to attend a live game at Climate Pledge Arena featuring one of basketball's greatest teams - the Harlem Globetrotters!

Thorpe's commitment to giving back and embracing local Seattle charities made for an unforgettable event. The team was treated with access to Thorpe's exclusive private suite, and photos next to legendary players—creating a lasting memory that will inspire the athletes throughout the future of their own journeys. Thorpe looks forward to future collaborations with Seattle Adaptive Sports and is committing to recognizing local Seattle charities that make an impact.

Seattle Adaptive Sports strives to enable people with physical disabilities to push beyond their limits, connecting athletes and the community with opportunities to compete, learn, and grow. Honoring his commitment to highlighting local charities that positively impact the community, Seattle entrepreneur, Jim Thorpe gifted his private suite to the Puget Sound non-profit.

His goal is to provide these young adults with an inspiring experience that motivates them to continue building a strong foundation. Thorpe looks forward to future collaborations with Seattle Adaptive Sports and hopes others will follow suit, giving back in their own way!

Thorpe’s previous efforts to make an impact in the Seattle community are demonstrated in his past philanthropic involvement. Last month, Thorpe hosted his 2nd Annual Holiday Toy Drive to benefit the patients of Seattle Childrens Hospital. Not only did the event promote community unity, but it also provided the opportunity to give back. In total, the Holiday Toy Drive Event collected over 40 toys plus donations that Thorpe himself made by completing amazon wishlist items for 3 Children. All proceeds of the event went towards the Child Life Fund at Seattle Children’s Hospital.
