HAUNTED HOUSE

The Laurelhurst Haunted House is a charity-based attraction built and produced by Jim Thorpe and his team at Summit Capital Partners. The 3-day event was a huge success and attracted a record-breaking number of people with over 5,000 attendees throughout the Seattle area. With the goal of promoting community involvement, attendees were encouraged to donate $1.00 or one canned good in lieu of an admission free. Thorpe pledged to match all donations, totaling a final contribution of $12,000 to Northwest Harvest. In addition to their monetary contribution, the event collected 1,000 pounds of food to be distributed throughout local food banks.

This marks the third consecutive year Summit Capital has partnered with Northwest Harvest to fight food insufficiency in Washington State. Thorpe and his team were responsible for building and operating the haunted attraction and were thrilled with the attendee's feedback.

Thorpe is grateful for the community's support and looks forward to another successful event next year.
